I just really love the idea of Ruthie joining Stella on her mission to save Chuck and Auggie and possibly hunt/help other ghosts, and that shared smile at the end felt RIFE with possibility. Perhaps long hours spent on the road together lead to something more? In gen news, I found the themes of the movie absolutely fascinating and very much tailored to me, so anything in the vein of storytelling/urban legends/angry ghosts who are upset that they've been lied about would ALSO be great.

So Mary/Kreizler is a ship I absolutely incepted myself into - I didn't even like Kreizler that much at first, but I loved Mary, and he seemed to make her happy, so okay. And then I went from "if that's what she wants, I guess" to "the pining! The unspoken shared traumas! The mutual support! THE YEARNING." I think there's something to the relationship, where there's this mutual support and comfort (he saved her from prison, she helps him with the things he can't do because of his hand - it's also made explicit in the book that she's the only person he's confided in about his father, which is fascinating and says so much about the levels of trust involved) and also, he seems to make her happy, and I'm very invested in her being happy.

I revisited this book recently - it's an old favourite - and was blown away by how many FEELINGS I still have about it and there's so much fic potential - either fic about Sweeney and Dylan after the events of the book, or about Sweeney and Oliver after the events of the book - Oliver must have had such a fascinating life in between college and coming back to save Dylan! And their dynamic would be so fraught and fascinating! (Note: the book describes Oliver as having transitioned, so I would prefer fic that genders her appropriately.)

I never can watch this show much farther than season eleven. It just wasn't the same for me after Thomas Gibson's (completely deserved) forced departure. The actor may have a whole host of issues, but Aaron Hotchner is still one of my favorite characters. I love how hard he tries to keep that serious face up as often as possible, and I love every moment we get where it cracks and he actually appears human for a change.

Garcia is a close second for favorite, and I am here for literally any of her involvement. I just love everything about her, particularly the way she talks. She's always trying to be bright and bubbly even when relaying the worst of news.

I'm here for the smut/kink and/or the horror/creep, lol. Even when sex isn't the major theme of what's going on the entire show is pulsing with that kind of energy, so smut of any variety just feels especially fitting. In exchanges and fests I tend to note that I like fluff and happy endings, but with American Gods every last bit of that goes out the window. It's more understated than my love of fluff and humor (at least online), but I'm a fan of porn and horror, and this fandom slides right into that mentality in ways that many others don't. I am not the least bit twitchy about dub-con or non-con here either. So long as everyone's a legal adult and it isn't A/B/O I'm pretty much golden.

Sweeney/Laura is my OTP of the fandom. I love their energy, their reluctance to admit how they feel about one another, and the potential for just super dirty sexings. I'd love to see them get a less depressing ending than the painful nightmare I'm sure the show's going to give us, so a not-miserable-for-the-moment ending is preferred. I'm not squicky about violence or this particular version of necrophilia (does it count since she's the undead and not a prone corpse?) if you're working with a still decaying Laura. So long as we don't have my DNWs, get graphic. I'll probably love it. I don't hate the Laura is Essie trope, but I like seeing things that don't take that route any farther than the physical resemblance. The only thing I really don't want with these two is flat out angst. They're both usually in shitty moods, but the thing they're not usually up to is crying about it. Whinging, sure, and bitching aplenty, but sobbing in a corner ain't either of their styles.

I am down for including any kind of Sweeney antics. I'd love to know exactly what happened with the mermaids he and Wednesday were talking about or get more detail on any of his wild stories. You could give me a glimpse at a brawl he started out of boredom in just about any time and place and I'd be super enthused. He's my absolute favorite, so more Sweeney is always right up my alley.

Every time I watch scenes of Laura from before her death I'm overwhelmed by how she was clearly (to me, anyway) dealing with some serious depression issues. I'd love to see her during some of her happy moments or even just introspective bits on what was going through her mind. Laura's not necessarily a good person, but I love that she's so unapologetic about it.

As an additional note, I do love worldbuilding in this universe and explanations of how each god and/or mystical figure is affected by belief and worship.

Tumblr has done amazing things for my love of these ships. There are a lot of great headcanons and general ideas floating around out there, and I usually love them. To be honest, I'm still pretty new to reading a lot of fic in the Witcher universe. I haven't really developed a lot of preferences yet. The only big thing is that I don't like people portraying Jaskier as totally useless. Lacking any sense of self-preservation, sure, but he's not a total moron. I'm also not big on turning Yennefer into a damsel in distress. It just feels way too out of character.

I've not read any of the books and my experience with the games is minimal. Don't worry about spoiling any of that for me because I honestly probably won't ever get to them. Modern AUs intrigue me, but I haven't read many of them for this fandom yet. I definitely love the 'Geralt is an exhausted dad' trope and pretty much any variety of Jaskier convincing Geralt that he deserves love and affection.

Grimmchild & Lord of Shades: Lord of Shades is just bigger, scarier Ghost and I stand by this interpretation.
