Matching update

Unfortunately matching has been stuck at the "generating assignments" stage for the past eight hours.

I've contacted AO3 Support to see if they can nudge it along on their side and hopefully matching can proceed shortly.

Apologies for the delay!


Update approx 24 hours after starting matching: Still awaiting help from AO3 Support. Nothing we can do but wait!

If it helps, you can also see your assignment from your user dashboard (in the 'assignments' section). I'd suggest contacting support to help you change your email address.

Apologies but I won't be emailing any assignments.

If you can't access your email account by the time assignments are sent, you'll be able to see your assignment by going to https://archiveofourown.org/users/YOURUSERNAME/assignments or going to the collection page (https://archiveofourown.org/collections/shipoween2020) and clicking "My Sign-up" in the menu on the left.

I apologize if this sounds "well that was obvious," but have you reloaded the tab where matching is running? It doesn't seem to refresh on its own and sometimes looks stuck longer than it is. Failing that I hope Support gets back to you soon!

I've tried it from multiple devices and it's definitely stuck. I'm awaiting assistance from AO3 Support but it needs someone from the technical team to look at it.
